FOREIGN SOCIAL AND CULTURAL ORGANISATIONS

In line with its overall objectives, Trimurti has established links with various foreign social and cultural organisations and promoted exchanges and interactions with them for the benefit of members.

Beijing NGO Network Program for International Exchanges, China As member affiliate of Mauritius Council of Social Services (MACOSS), four members of Trimurti participated, in September 2019, in the Beijing NGO Network program for International Exchanges held in China. They also took part in the 10th Beijing International Walking festival for which all four of them were finishers.

Contacts with Indian Diaspora

In line with its overall objectives, Trimurti, through the Global Organization of People of Indian Origin (GOPIO), has had close contacts with the Indian Diaspora in Reunion Island, Malaysia, Singapore and Sri Lanka. Trimurti members have, additionally, been participating in the Bharatiya Pravasi Diwas.

Respect Age International (RAI), India

Similarly, Trimurti has had on several occasions, exchange programs with a non-governmental Organization of India named ‘Respect Age International’. The movement, commonly known as RAI, is an Indian pioneer organization working for the rights, respect, dignity, care and Security of senior citizens worldwide, since 1962. The Chairman of RAI, Dr. Girish Gupta and its members have on numerous occasions been honoured guests of Trimurti family gatherings and other social events.
